i took a quick look at the drone - appended to the word doc -
cannot see any signal - must be me
or more specifically the tinySA setup - maybe with the slow scan of the band (3sec) it does not capture the spikes - DJI uses FHSS
i just received the XDP programmer -
so after quick RSSI test i get the following
range test - -65dBm
normal mode: -35 dBm
XDP transmitter about 2 feet apart -
when putting antenna directly on XDP i get like -29 dBm
i will get into the fail safe stuff later
That's all correct. That is showing you the signal strength as the XDP (a transceiver) sees it.
Those numbers are about the same as what I get with my XPS transmitter modules. I conclude that your XPS transmitter module is working as it should - good news there.
Do the control interruptions at the field happen at around the same time of day?

sadly i had the same interruptions at different sites and time of days.

other question:
when i call
XDP.EXE
then 'search for device'
it says 'no xtremelink device found'
but all the other programs (RSSI etc) work
Did you download the manual for the XDP?
You need to put some devices into binding mode before you can access them.

yes i read it and also the program tells you when to put in binding mode. the manual says nothing about the XDP.exe specifically (the unofficial guide)
XDP.exe is used for receivers and transmitter modules. You need to put the device into BINDING mode (not programming mode).

i understand and i did - what i mean is when i start up the XDP.exe it does not find the XDP.
what are these xxx_update.exe files ? do i need to run them ? because all of them also complain 'XDP/telemetry station not found'
but analyzer.exe and the other .exe run
just wonder what the update.exe do?
