Transmitter with Xtreme - flyingw - 05-13-2021 Jim, I am considering a new transmitter and I would want one that could talk to XPS transmitter modules, receivers and channel expanders with the most direct, efficient protocol. I have a vague recollection of a post somewhere in the old forum that states that one brand of transmitter used a protocol similar to your Xtreme protocol. I cannot find it using the search. Can you recall what may have been posted about this possibility? Thank you, Paul RE: Transmitter with Xtreme - XPS - 05-13-2021 There are no transmitters that use anything remotely close to our Xtreme protocol for module communications. The over-air protocol used by the XtremeLink system was virtually copied by JETI and JR-DMSS, but the upper level (packet handlers) are completely different. RE: Transmitter with Xtreme - flyingw - 05-14-2021 Ok, thanks Jim, Paul |
