RF module for spectrum?

i am not sure if this entire forum thing here is dead and useless (sad) but i post anyways.
i got the RF module from XPS way back to convert my multiplex EVO pro 16 to XPS. 
so i wonder if the XPS model can be programmed or used for the spectrum DSM or DSM2 receivers?

i sort of miss jim's personal replies and expertise - how well things change, look at our country (US)

Every brand 2.4GHz system has their own proprietary RF protocol. Nothing is cross compatible.
