RF module for spectrum?

Also, if your RadioMaster T16 can transmit ELRS, then you may be able to take advantage of a nice capability coming in the future.  XPS have proposed a new X10+v3 that could support the CRSF protocol as a serial input (like the existing X10s take Xtreme or SBUS as an input).  CRSF is the serial protocol that ELRS receivers use to talk to flight controllers.

the nice thing about the radiomaster seems the flexibility of RF modules - i ordered the 4-in1 because of the spektrum compatibility but it can be replaced with the ELRS module.
i am confused i thought XPS is shut down?

so you are still using the XPS and RFU? what transmitter?
i really liked my mutliplex evo but when i set it up for the GT2000v2 glider with flaps i realized that the slider potentiometers did not work smoothly anymore - so i used contact spray which improved it but maybe at 20+ years old this is to be expected especially they were rarely used. i surely liked the programmability of the EVO.
