I still use XPS transmitter modules and receivers, including original 8-channel, Nanos, and RFUs. I've got X10 and RFU setups in several of my airplanes too. One airplane has an X10 and Nano Rx.
I use a Futaba 9C and a Taranis X9D, both with XPS transmitter modules. I recently bought a RadioMaster TX15 transmitter to learn ELRS and EdgeTx. the TX15 has a JR-style RF module bay and EdgeTx supports PPM and XJT out of the external module bay so I could also use it with the XPS-J1 transmitter module.

thanks Paul
so you are fully invested in XPS - good. i just ordered the radiomasterT16s.
i really like XPS too but lost sort of confidence with the transmission range. XPS suggests to remove the transmitter antenna for the range test and then walk away 50 feet. i cannot remove the antenna. it does not just unscrew like router or other 2.4GHz antennas. anyways if i walk away maybe 50ft and put my body in between the servos respond erratic. with antenna XPS says one would need to walk away 300 ft. so what is wrong.
as i said my transmitter LED n normal connection always flickers fast green which according to AI indicates range test mode.
can you please tell me if yours is solid green in normal use? that would help me a lot. if yours is solid green and mine is flickering then something is really not right
