RF module for spectrum?

today i was  flying -all went well -the glider again with my old setup multiplex EVO and XPS transmitter module  with RFU and x10+ in the glider AND i watched the LQI.
next to plane during launch LQI=100%
reasonably far away and high up for a 2m wing span and lowest LQI = 64
i think only drew would know how to judge  this.
does 64 mean that 36% of frames are lost? how does this look on spektrum or other radios?
i am not even sure if the other XPS transmitter modules do have a LQI (link quality index) output?
all i can say i did not notice any dropouts. ok one could say a glider is more forgiving, yes probably , nevertheless i am happy all worked out

so far no luck with x10 and spektrum


 this newer spm4951T accepts voltages up  to 8V so no more need for modifying anything on the X10 or cable. i thought your photos showed X10 v1. anyways i have a v2 and just tried it but still no talking between x10 and receiver. receiver did bind to the tx16s. i only can think that the newer receiver only does the SRXL2 protocol and the x10 does not understand. i did order an hyperion spektrum receiver and will see if that works.  i did set the X10 to the spektrum protocol (3).
