Link Quality means the percentage of good control packets (new servo positions) out of all of the attempted control packets over some small period of time.
In your flight at some point your receiver was able to use 64% of the control packets. At that moment the system was operating with small gaps in the controls. As you said, with a glider it may not have been noticeable.
In chapter 7 "Set Spektrum Bind Mode" of the X10+v2 manual, it gives a procedure for binding a Spektrum satellite with the X10 in play.
