2.4 GHz Max Power output by FCC
Posted by: SMYK - 09-14-2023, 08:26 PM - Forum: XtremeLink Radio System - Replies (1)

Jim

What is a maximum power output for 2.4GHz control devices by FCC ruling ?

100 mW ?
1 W (1000mW)?

Your modules got power settings to go with local regulations

I am asking because there is a bunch of new systems running LoRa or other words ELRS with power up to 1W
Is that different then STD DMSS system to go with elevated output?
Does HAM license covers the 2.4GHz band?
I am little confused because these ExpressLRS modules do not have FCC stickers

Thanks
Mike

  Dual RFU to X-16
Posted by: adnapak - 06-07-2023, 03:42 AM - Forum: RFU - Replies (1)

Probably comes under the heading "Why would you want to do it" but is it possible to connect two RFU to an X16 to have redundancy as in the Nano Rx's?
At present can't get them both to bind, which I assume would be as master/slave.
Curiosity for a cold day.

  X16 Jitters
Posted by: voyager101 - 03-25-2023, 10:20 PM - Forum: X16 - Replies (1)

I just installed a new X16 in a 120" Turbomaster. All channels have a distinct jitter sitting at neutral. I've swapped out servos, Futaba HPS-702 and Savox SV1270TGP. Used three different receivers, even turned off the light above the table. Used 3 different 2S 3800ma LiPo battery packs. Disconnected all servos and extensions one at a time, and had just one servo connected, The jitter remains.

Two different Nanos, same servo positions?
Posted by: flyingw - 03-20-2023, 08:31 AM - Forum: Nano - Replies (2)

Hi,

I am setting up a new airplane and I will use a Nano receiver.  The one I want to use is currently in another plane.

In the meantime I plan to use a different Nano that I have in my spares to center the servos and set up the pushrods.

Will using two different Nano receivers make any difference in the servo output positions?

Thank you,

Paul
