On the XPS website, the X10+v2 includes SBUS and SBUS2 as supported protocols.  However, in the X10+v2 manual, SBUS-2 is not listed as an input protocol that can be selected.

If I connect a Futaba SBUS-2 receiver to an X10+v2, will it work like regular SBUS, only without the telemetry part?

I have a setup with an XPS Nano receiver, and three ProModeler micro digital servos.  Two DS100s on elevator and rudder, and one DS150 on ailerons.

With the radio, receiver and servos powered up with a two-cell 6.6v life receiver pack, I adjusted the aileron pushrods.  While removing, turning and then re-installing the kwik links onto the aileron servo horn, I placed slight amounts of turning force on the DS150 aileron servo.  This caused the servo to make some noises which I expected as it held its position against the loads imparted by my fingers.

What I did not expect was that the other two servos also made small jittery movements when the aileron servo was disturbed.

I never noticed this phenomenon before.  Do you think there may be a problem with my setup?

The Xtreme Power systems website announced a few years ago that XPS would be selling both aircraft and radios used over the years for testing.

I just noticed that in July XPS put several RC jets for sale in the RCGroups forum.  I never saw that until now, but I wouldn't have been in that market anyway.

I am however in the market for a radio that you may have used for testing along with a working JR or other type module.

Please let us know in the forum when and if and when you plan to sell your radio inventory.

I have been using a slide switch and when powering on and off the X16, the green status light goes out when powering off, seems normal.
When I changed to pin and flag and programed it in the X16, it powers off when the pin is installed but the Green Status light Stays ON.  
Would that be normal for using Pin and Flag switching?

I have an JR 8103 fitted with an XPS module that I have not used in about 13 years, I have one of the original 8 Ch receivers and a nano receiver. I am planning on using this radio while going to slope soaring to prevent risking my Jeti transmitter.

I have gone to XPS webpage to try to buy new receivers but I see that all is out of stock.

Is XPS out of business? Will there be receivers for sale?

i did an unscheduled landing in S F bay. the glider sloshed around for about 30 minutes and was brought ashore. i did the usual clean water and alcohol rinse. the 8 channel RX no longer works. no LED either. so can the RX be fixed?

Is there any software compatibility or functional reason that you should not use an XPS Futaba transmitter module with a Taranis?

I understand that one would have to cable the GND, Vbatt and PPM signals correctly, adapt the physical mounting, and set the Taranis to output PPM to the external bay.
